Making Space for Palestine

About the event

Date

As the conflict in Gaza continues, many of us feel a deep sense of pain and loss. Join us along with Rep. Ruwa Romman, Georgia’s first Palestinian-American lawmaker, to participate in a listening circle where we can come together to share, listen, and learn from each other in a safe, supportive environment. Many thanks to Sonya Khan for opening her home for this conversation, address provided upon RSVP at bit.ly/baw-palestine

Asian Maker’s Market

About the event

Date

We’re excited to share some ideas we’re exploring for upcoming Asian Makers Markets: a) Civic Engagement Edition (Tentative for Early October): We’re considering a special market in Gwinnett County with a focus on community involvement. This event could combine shopping from Asian and Asian American artisans with voter education activities. It’s still in the idea stage, so stay tuned for updates. b) Holiday Market at Olive + Pine (Potential Winter Event): Building on the concept of our previous event, we’re thinking about hosting a festive market at Olive + Pine in Avondale Estates. This could be an opportunity to shop for unique holiday gifts from Asian and Asian American makers. Please note this is still in the planning phase.
