Our Metro Atlanta-based club is open to all Asian, Asian-American, multiracial female, trans, and non-binary folk who self-identify as a Badass Asian Woman. If you’re proud to call yourself a Badass Asian Woman, wear the merch, fly the flag, then you’re welcome here.
Generally, we are:

Children of immigrants
-
Have spent our formative years in the US
-
Speak 2 languages (with varying levels of fluency)

Live in areas that don't have a majority Asian population
-
Have struggled with identity, feeling both not American enough and not Asian enough
Embracing our power
Our group seeks to reverse the effect of social and cultural conditioning of Asian American women that has isolated us and kept us from gaining positions of influence in numbers that reflect our population.
We reject the messages ascribed to us:

Instead of "other," we offer a sense of belonging.

Instead of "assimilate," we encourage finding our authentic selves. Instead of "quiet," we aim to be loud and proud.
